I am sure that if you are a woman you already wear those pants or jeans that are way too low. Depending on what type of pants you pick and where you hold it, chances are that even when you are simply standing up (and definitely when you are sitting or bending), your underwear will show.

We had suggested that when women use low rise pants they choose low rise underwear too. But either women are careless or they don't have enough low rise underwear or they just don't care or may even want to show their underwear, the reality is that you can see a woman's panties/thong these days. So much so that for many men this has become a hobby and the Internet is full of pictures of such women that men have secretly taken.

Natasha, a 22-year old office manager, who wrote to us today, thinks that it is a style [i]faux-pas [/i](or a complete NO) but she has a great piece of advice that we thought we will publish it here. "If you are aware that your underwear will show or you like to show it, then for God's sake buy some lingerie. I do not want to see your Wal-Mart panties. For these occasions you must wear something that is fashionable or even sexy but please do not show me your white, cotton underwear," she advises.

It seems that we read both.  A few years ago I got my news from the newspaper but that has now changed.  I read Google news now.  However, I still read a lot of magazines when I am in the toilet or when I have to kill time waiting for something.  So JD is now talking about how digital media and print media will both coexist.

A lot has been written on the subject of Viagra and blindness since the story first surfaced that Viagra may cause sudden blindness among some men.  There was even speculation that Viagra may have to be recalled and Viagra lawsuits have already been filed.  (Related article:  Pfizer sued by Viagra patient)

Like Bextra, that was recalled by Pfizer after FDA banned the drug, a recall of Viagra will be disastrous for the company.  After all millions of people worldwide take Viagra for erectile dysfunction (ED).  Pfizer is now saying that a review of all post-marketing ocular event reports has concluded that there is no evidence of increased risk of blindness among patients taking Viagra.  In other words, the findings of the University of Minnesota scientists are not accurate.  (Related article:  Pfizer defends Viagra)

In a press statement, Pfizer said discussions are progressing with the FDA to update the Viagra label to reflect rare reports of non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION) in some men who have used the medicine. According to the company, the FDA has concluded that no causal relationship between Viagra and NAION exists.  The FDA has not made its own statement yet but the company says that the FDA is reportedly asking that all drugs like Viagra, for instance, Levitra and Cialis, carry a warning on the label. 

Interestingly enough, the FDA has approved the active ingredient in Viagra as another drug Revatio for treating an illness called PAH.

As we have been reporting on our Bextra recall blog, Bextra has been found to be unsafe in study after study.  However, only those scientists that work for Pfizer think that it is a safe drug.  Now the drug regulatory agency in Europe, EMEA, has found that the ban on Bextra should remain in place since it is simply too dangerous a drug.

In the Vioxx recall case, one of the interesting facts is that despite withdrawing the drug from the market, Merckhas denied any wrongdoing, claims that the drug is safe, and has refused to claim any responsibility for as many as 50,000 deaths in the US alone.  In a rather ironical development, Merck gave one of its confidential internal memos to Vioxx lawyers and those documents clearly prove that Merck was basically lying all along about Vioxx.  As early as 2000, Merck knew that Vioxx was too dangerous and wanted to change the drug formulation. 

Good news for Vioxx victims and hopefully it also means that Vioxx lawsuits will be quite interesting to watch as Merck defends its lies with all the incriminating evidence that will now be presented.

As if Vioxx victims had not suffered enough from injuries and deaths of loved ones, every effort is being made to deny compensation to them.  According to latest reports, a Vioxx trial delay has been sought by conservative group so that Merck can buy more time and is able to discourage other victims from coming forward and joining the class action lawsuits.

First I came to know about Technorati and so I registered all our blogs with them.  But the blogs were never found in a search and that sort of concerned me.  We tried claiming the blogs and even added technorati profiles, but the bottomline was that nothing worked.  Then I came to know about Technorati tags a few months ago.  So I started to include them on all the blogs in the eCreativa portfolio.  But they wouldn't work.  Clicking on the tag did not show our post. 

After doing some research on the web, finally I sent a note to the wonderful folks at Technorati using their support address.  They got back to me in about a week or so telling me that our blog template was all screwed up (because we used a Blogger template).  Either we should make all the changes to make sure that Technorati server could read the feed properly or our tags wouldn't work.  While this was not the main reason for dumping Blogger, it definitely helped making the decision.  So now that we are using WordPress, today for the first time I checked the tags, and voila, the work.

Exactly as we had predicted late last week, Guidant, the maker of now recalled Ventak Prizm defribillators, is now the target of class action lawsuits.  Law firms and attorneys have already started accepting cases.  And the victims have a strong case.  Not only many will need to undergo another round of surgery, according to Guidant, some are already dead.

Some of the other models being recalled are CONTAK RENEWAL (Model H135), CONTAK RENEWAL 2 (Model H155) CRT-Ds, VENTAK PRIZM AVT, VITALITY AVT, RENEWAL 3 AVT and RENEWAL 4 AVT ICDs.  The FDA is advising patients to work with their doctor.  According to some reports, patients may not have to pay for replacements, but they should read the fine print carefully in case the replacement bars them from joining the class action lawsuits.

When I reported yesterday that we switched one of our blogs from Blogger to Wordpress, I did not mention that I also looked into many programs but in reality installed Nucleus CMS.  This is also free and open-source, but I found it to be somewhat difficult to install and customize.  Another problem that I had was that I could not get a URL like mynippon.com/social-security-priva tization using their fancy URL stuff.  It just did not work.  I have to admit though that technically it was too big a deal for me to make the kind of changes that they recommend.  So if you are considering an alternative to Blogger, try Wordpress.

As always, our team met this morning to pick the sexy woman of the day.  As always, we receive so many submissions that the choice was not easy.  But we picked this woman because of her confidence and comfort level with who she is.  She has a hot body but not necessarily the ones that "America's Top Model" program would like.  But that is the whole point.  She has a great cleavage to go with and we loved the seductive pose.
