If you feel like having dessert after a meal, particularly dinner, it isn't your fault.  Our bodies love sugar after a meal.  However, if you eat dessert every day or even several times a day and do not watch the serving size - and if you do not workout and also do not diet - it will take you no time to get obese.

Well, my favorite dessert is Stonyfield full cream yogurt (and while I sometimes make my own yogurt), it is still not the healthiest dessert.  So as part of my efforts to stop cravings for dessert, I have been trying to eat something else: fruits.  So I eat fresh fruits when I can but on a hot summer night, it doesn't taste like dessert.  So this is the trick that I have discovered.  Buy frozen fruits (organic is even better) and make sure that they have nothing else but fruits.  And no, DO NOT use canned fruits (they contain too much added sugar).  Leave them out of the freezer for an hour or two and then have them as dessert when they are still really cold but soft enough to eat.  They are almost as good as real fruits in health benefits, but that way I can eat fruits that are hard to find in a specific place (e.g. tropical fruits in the North) or at a certain time of the year.  Plus, they are always available.

As you all know, I am a relatively fit person but am desperately trying to lose those 3-5 pounds.  All I want to do is to reach 130 or so from 135.  I think that just that tiny little bit of fat on my waist will go away and I can then feel proud to show off my body.

A few weeks ago I noticed something interesting.  I just bought a box of Altoids mint chewing gum and before heading out to a party, I popped one to freshen my mouth.  After a long drive, I realized that I did not feel any appetite for my mid-afternoon snack.  Then I tried it again a few days later.  Since then I have tried it over a dozen times.  Chew some gum, just let it be there in your mouth for an hour or two.  Not only will you not feel hungry during this period, you won't feel hungry for another 1-2 hours.

I am one of those guys who is pretty much natural down there.  Naturally it makes my life easy but trust me it grows.  After a while it starts to bother, especially when a hair gets stuck.  This weekend was time to trim and boy it feels good - my thong fits much better.  I use a combination of a trimmer and small scissors so that I just make it shorter.  I have never shaved my pubic hair and once when cut it real short, she was complaining because the hair pricked the soft parts.
