As many of our fans know, we do answer all questions sent to our writers. All you need to do is to send an email to the website using the contact us form. Yesterday we heard from Emma, an Asian woman, whos is suffereing from dermatomyocitis, a rare skin and muscle diease. She tells us that it started out as a rash but worked its way into her muscles. She did the right thing by starting medication but her skin now has hyper pigmentation. She asks, "My doctor says I probably won't be able to see any change in my skin color for about another year or so. Anything you can recommend that is safe and effective." Guys and girls, while we love to help out our fans but one area that we stay away from is medical advice. Yes, we do give tips on health, beauty, fitness, style, makeup, fashion, romance, and many other areas, but only your doctor knows what is best for you. So we would suggest that you follow your doctor's advice. Only a doctor who can look at your condition is in a better position to tell you what is good for you. As you will appreciate, someone like us who has not seen what you have would not like to offer medical advice by email. Hope you will understand. For any other questions, just fire them by email. |
