First of all it is highly debatable if chatting with anyone online is "cheating." Or if it is sending romantic messages and private pictures? Or if doing something hanky panky on a webcam? But some online friendships and relationships actually do turn serious and there are clues to when a man is having an online affair. I am curious to know what you think. depends on the kind of chatting. if there is flirting or you are getting emotionally attached, it might be cheating, in my opinion.

i think for women, relationships are a lot more of an emotional thing than for men. so i think if maybe women need to be more careful online then guys as far as this goes, generally. just a thought.
also, most people dont consider it cheating to look at porn if your in a relationship, so doing sexual stuff online with someone probly isnt a big deal. you are most like ly approaching or crossing the line if you meet up with someone....also, people have totally different standards in relationships nowadays. there are 'open relationships', 'shared'

What strikes me is that many of the warning signs in the article....describe me. I don't turn off the computer or anything when he comes in the room, but am often on in the middle of the night, usually b/c I have insomnia. I even started my blog here without him knowing it tonight, as a way to have a separate place that is mine. I can't have that space anywhere in reality, so I created it on-line. I have kids in the house, I mean I don't even get to use the bathroom alone anymore. =). He does know all my passwords, although I don't think he's ever used them, and we have the cookies set to clear every night so nothing is ever stored in our history, it's set to save for '0' days. I think if he was having convos that he wasn't willing to let me read I would be suspicious, and if I were doing anything that I wasn't willing to disclose he'd be upset too. Just thought it was funny that he could say I do a lot of the things on the list of warning signs....and nothing is goin on.
