In response to my two previous posts: are thongs bad for health and why do women wear thongs, I got a series of questions emailed to me. In summary, several women want to know if men wear thongs too, and if so, why. Indeed, men do, though not as many as women. And it is absolutely ridiculous to think that just because men wear thongs they are gay or feminine or less masculine. Some of the reasons men wear thongs are the similar to those for women. Not all men like to wear bulky boxers - they also love that "I am wearing nothing" feeling. Many men like to feel sexy wearing thongs and have found that women love them in thongs. So guys tell me if you wear a thong at least sometimes. Girls, what do you think of guys in thongs?

I am a guy and I wear thongs. I wear them because there is very little constriction. Unlike Hanes and Fruit of the Loom, thongs don't have elastic bands everywhere. Plus, they come in a variety of colors. I just love hotpink. Oh yeah, I'm bi.

30yr guy who also wears thongs. Wife asked me to try pair she bought about 7-8 years ago, been wearing ever since. She loves them as do I now. At first very odd feeling up butt. Realized the benefits of wearing them daily. 1 being they support me consistantly so I don't shift myself every hour. Also they breathe better than boxers, less jock itch possibilities, YaY!!
For the record, I'm not a hunk, nor am I ugly, but I wouldn't wear thongs in public view. I wear under jeans, shorts, and some times in our pool when kids are away.
Why people think guys are Homo/gay for wearing such comfy undies is beyond me. I guess if a guy sees another guy wearing they assume hes flashing his ass.. Thats dumb!!
I wear them proudly for almost 8 years, I don't even own any other types. Wear to bed and everywhere.
Thongs are for this guy, wife approved!!

Hi I’m a guy who’s has worn thongs now for almost 13 years they are more comfy than boxers the wife says she prefers them. I think you should wear what you want does it really matter if you haven’t got the perfect body. i would love to have the confidence to wear a pair of thong trunks to the beach, maybe one day. Let’s face it you are only here once. p.s I have been happily married for 16 years with two children and I’m not gay.

I'm married and have been for eighteen years. I wear thongs and briefs. Wearing a thong makes me feel sexy. I wear them for me, not for anyone else. Not for anyone other than my wife to view. My wife loves viewing my thong. What women wouldn't want to view a good looking man wearing one? Are you a lesbian who hates men wearing a thong? Maybe, lesbians and the homophobic men who negatively post comments about men wearing a thong should get together for some fun times. I wonder what that would look like.

Men who negatively post against men wearing thongs are most likely thinking about themselves viewing another man wearing one, thus they are deeply concerned about expressing their inner feelings, which might make them feel that's a good looking man wearing a thong. Who's the homo? Man wearing a thong or a man looking at another good looking man wearing a thong? Some ugly men can't stand the thought or view of a good looking man wearing a thong, yet they probably can watch a ugly man banging a woman in a porno flick. Who doesn't love looking at the women, but the guys banging her have no ass or a hairy ass. Yes, very attractive to the men who watch porno.

I'm in my 20's and I wear thongs, not all the time, I wear them for the same reason many people wear them. I wear then under my suit or under tight fitting pants at the office it makes for a nices view of my ass to for the ladies me not having underwear lines. I know going comando can achieve the same results but I do have a large package (I'm not being a prick, I just do) and I need it to stay in place and up front and a thong does the job. To those that say bad things about guys that wear thongs don't look and why do you care, try it before you talk about it. I'm sure there are those guys that don't look that great in a thong, but it's not like we see them walking around in only a thong, maybe it makes them feel better about them self? I don't see anything wrong with that. I personally do have the body to wear them and I find it funny to read that lots of women think it's grose. If they think its so grose then why do so many women go and watch male stripers? Let me ask you this ladies, if you have a really hot guy in front of you do you really care what underwear he is wearing? I have taken many women home with me and when I drop my pants and they see me in a black thong I have never had a bad reaction, I'm not ashmed to wear a thong, so one should be. FYI thong or not ass hair is nasty and there are solutions for it...

I have worn thongs for 6 years, I’m 28 and I’m American. I was working in Paris in an office when this woman I was working with pointed out that she could see my underwear through my slacks. I was so embarrassed and I immediately went to the washroom to look for my self thinking I had a hole in my pants. I didn’t but as I looked closer I could see the outline of my bikini briefs that I had been wearing for as long as I can remember. I figured that they only way to resolve this was to go commando even though I hate my boys swinging free. That same women asked me if I wanted to go shopping with her on the weekend and I agreed. We went to a downtown department store when I remembered I needed new shoes for the gym. As I was sitting trying on shoes she came over with what looked like panties for her but after closer examination realised that is was a men’s thong which she insisted on buying for me. She made fun of me in the car for being so uptight about guys in thongs she told me that it’s normal in Europe. I brought her home where she asked me to come up and she would make us some lunch. When I got up there he through the bag at me and told me to model it for her. She was serious… I said what the hell so I went and suited up. I walked out of her bathroom in nothing but that thong and man it was surprisingly comfortable and I have to say it felt a little sexy in it. She ended up taking it off of me that afternoon but since then that’s almost all I wear. I ended up marrying her and we live in the US now and have 2 beautiful children and I have to say that I don’t care what people say. I wear what I like and if stores like Macy’s and Target sell them there must be a market for it and men like must be wearing them. I also have the body to wear a thong. Straight Matt you are right I couldn’t have said it better my self. Last year I did this charity thing where I was an amateur stripper and I could not believe how wild women get when they saw me and some of the other guys in a g-string. I think chicks just like a nice body no matter what clothes are on it.

i love wearing thongs but prefer women's plain thongs just don't like the guy thong my girl friends think i look hot in the women's thongs and don't like me in thong made for guys. so i now wear women's thongs all the time they even feel more comfortable and my girl thinks they are more sexy on me so maybe more guys should try them and i'm also 100% straight. wearing a thong will not make you gay and those that are saying that have probably GAY TENDENCIES THEMSELVES and should maybe think about coming out of the closet. most EUROPEANS have no problem wearing them or being seen in them. so get a life you poor pathetic people that say you must be gay if you wear a thong. complete and utter nonsense. GET an EDUCATION while you still can.

I have been wearing thongs and small bikinis (only for guys) for many years. I have even wore them to the beach (not family beaches)for many years also but if I am going to wear them at the beach I am trimmed up front and shaved or waxed in the back.They are very comfy to wear and no I am not gay.My ex-wife loved them on me and so do my lady friends.

I was a loyal boxer wearer, up until my senior year in college when my then girlfriend bought me a white cotton thong. She wore them sometimes and I always told her how much I loved seeing her in them. So she decided to buy me one b/c she thought I had a nice ass, and it turned out, she liked seeing me wear them as well. From there, after getting used to the "barely there" feeling & great package support, she bought me a few more. Fast forward 16 years, multiple girlfirends & a now wife of 5 years, and a couple dozen thongs, I still wear them. Any woman I have ever slept with thought it was completely wild of me to be wearing them, and it did "up the ante" on my expected performance in bed with them b/c of my underwear of choice. An inadvertant, but interesting experiment in sexual phsycology I guess. Now in my late 30s today, I will wear a thong roughly 4 days or so a week (still wear boxers as well). I have wore thong swim suits on beaches and pool sides outside of the US. I go with swim shorts in the US just because I want to enjoy my vacations and avoid the random retarded glares and stares you get from other guys when they see a guy wear a thong in the US (why are these guys looking at my ass or package any way???). My wife wears her thong bikini at the beach, and she likes to see me in my thong, but she understands why I don't wear them at US resorts. As she says the US culture is still too uptight to accept a man wearing a thong in public. Hell, as this blog site demonstrates, there are only 15 or so entries on here over the span of almost 3 years! We are ahead of our time gentlemen.

I have been wearing thongs for about four years now. (And not that it should matter, but I am straight and my girlfriend loves it when I wear thongs.) Anyway, I started wear thongs to have support when running. And I found them so comfortable I started wearing them all the time. Sometimes I wear bikini briefs, but 95% of the time thongs. Personally, I couldn't care what anyone else thinks. As long as I like them and my girlfriend. Also, I don't worry about being seen in them - no one is going to see me in my undies anyway, except in the locker room. Yes, I will change in the locker room with my thong.
The other nice thing about a thong is that they are less restrictive. Bikini briefs are OK, but as the guy said above, too much elastic everywhere. And boxers, well, boxers are just uncomfortable under pants, especially jeans. I like to lounge in boxers at night, but for support, thongs are my favorite underwear.

My boyfriend and I are Canadian and we only wear thongs both as underwear and at the beach. We both wear them because they're comfortable and look sexy and make us feel sexy. Chris only wears thongs made for men, and especially likes the very sexy French Hom brand of underwear.
We're both exhibitionists, so I love other people on the beach checking out my breasts spilling out of my top or the shape of my bare ass or the triangle covering my front. I'm turned on by Chris's bulging pouch and turned on even more when other people are turned on by it. I can't stand the dork shorts most American guys wear on the beach. I'm 28 from Australia and have worn thongs since my teens. I am happily married with a kid and my wife loves me wearing them. As far as im concerned thats all that matters. I shudder to think what friends would say, but who cares? The fact is that they are supremly comfortable providing exceptional support while feeling like you are wearing nothing at all, my wife thinks its cool (she will only wear thongs as well) and I feel great in them. Sometimes when wearing white shorts with a dark thong you can tell, sometimes when bending down you can see the top of it but for heavens sake, who's business is it? Bottom line - the feel great and they look great! More and more places (like target etc) carry mens thongs and they always sell out quickly - seems we are indeed ahead of our time... Sometimes boxers just don't cut it. I was a hardcore boxer wearer until about a year ago. I made the mistake of taking up a dare and ended up in a little leopard print g-string. All I could do was shake my head at what I was doing. Funny thing is it was sooo much more comfortable than anything else I owned and I found my self picking up a few more.
My girlfriend loves it and I sure don't mind giving her a little show.

i am in my early 2o's and have worn thongs since i was 15 for me they are more comfortable i have never told any of my friends or girlfriends that i wear them though i did have one person snoop through a draw of mine and he found a couple and told every body the mental scars still affect me today and i guess have push me into a closet over it i probly never will tell anybody in person which sucks cause i do want to get married and have a couple of kids but i don't believe in keeping secrets from my future wife so as a result im avoiding marriage all together hopefully one day people realize in mass numbers that it is fine to wear whatever you damn well feel like wearing

You seem to worried as if you take illegal drugs or commit a crime. Wearing thongs is no different than being a vegetarian or an atheist. You are different but there is nothing to be embarrassed about just because others around you are still stuck in that old fashioned way of thinking. In my opinion the only dudes who don't like thongs are the ones that are fat and ugly and don't have the butts to show off in a thong.
And trust me, if a girl does not like you in thongs, that is scary. What else will she not like? Because you like salad? Or that you think there are many ways to experience God? Or that it is fine not to eat fast food?
My experience shows that many women will love you for being sensual and enjoying your body.
