Natalie wrote to me giving me an update on how she is dieting and exercising to lose as much as 100 lbs. This is what I wrote to her in response, "My recommendation would be to recognize that it will take time and effort to reach where you want to be but in the meantime you should celebrate every pound that you lose. Also you will notice that you might reach a plateau at some point but the key is not to give up till you reach that ultimate goal. Oh, a great way to stay motivated is to buy that swimsuit or dress or jeans that you hope to wear one day and hang it in a prominent place." |
