Not many people are talking about it in the mainstream media but women who have fallen in love or are married to Iraq war veterans are having a very difficult time in their relationships. |

This is true, I'm glad someone brought this up. There are very little resources for people like us considering the flood of vets who have come home over the last several years with PTSD or attatchment disorder issues from Iraq. They are young so obviously trying to date or marry people. It seems no one is talking about it anywhere though.
I am i a situation myself...been dating an iraq war vet for several months. He is a really great person, but he has problems with anxiety and bonding with people in a healthy way. I am normally good about staying away from men with problems and not making them my problems, but I really enjoy this guy.
It would be nice to have other women to talk to facing this struggle...
